One of the best things about working with Nancy is that we can talk about anything. Our biweekly meetings have agendas but also, tangents. Its in the tangents that I find new discoveries and insights. For example, here we are reviewing my strategy work with Amy. We have made good progress but I was stuck on where to start with Camp Brewster at Fontenelle Forest. Nancy took a look at my deck and said, “You’ll start with a small test plot to see what biodiversity exists already”. Just like that! While this may not be seem revolutionary to you, dear reader, it turned a corner for me. She’s truly is an amazing leader.
I can count on one hand, the fabulous female leaders I have had in my career. Linda Macy, my principal in Colorado. MaryAnn Billington, my director at Oracle. And Nancy, CEO/Founder of No More Empty Pots. Similarities of these three bold, great women: Belief in me, complete trust in what I say and do, genuine love for my heart and encouragement to grow. How blessed I have been by these three women.
